POLICE LOG for January 2 Car Falls Off Tow Truck Tractor Trailer

first_imgWILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Wednesday, January 2, 2019:A Recreation Department employee found a backpack containing a laptop. Police attempted to make notification at the owner’s residence and left a note in the mailbox. (8:44am)A car fell off a tow truck at the intersection of Federal Street and Concord Street. Truck driver was able to re-secure car. (9:05am)Walk-in party dropped off old ammunition for destruction. (11:25am)Police issued handicap parking spot violations at Planet Fitness (5:56pm) and Olympia Sports. (7:01pm)A resident reported a tractor trailer hit a rock wall on Chestnut Street and lost a tire. Trailer drove on. Police was able to locate the vehicle on Burlington Avenue. Truck belongs to Gentle Giant. Operator was unaware of any damage he caused.
