GALLERY Brock turns purple for Canadas messiest university tradition

A storm of excitement brought with it a downpour of purple rain at Brock University Friday.The sky over Brock’s Jubilee Court was filled with flying fruit Friday, Sept. 21, as more than 400 students came together for the University’s annual Grape Stomp.Brock’s messiest tradition saw teams of students dye their white clothes purple by squishing, tossing and sliding on a metric tonne of Concord grapes.The popular Brock event, which helped to kick off Homecoming weekend Sept. 21 to 23, has been ranked No. 2 out of the top Canadian university traditions by University Affairs Magazine.
