This evening, he was once again asked about his offense and if anything is going to change. The Jayhawks’ new head coach didn’t seem to like the question.“I can tell you, when we had Mettenberger, we threw for 3,300 yards and had two 1,000-yard receivers. When we had passers, we threw it. When we had players who couldn’t throw well, we ran the football and won 10 a year,” he said.Wanna hit the nerve? Ask Miles about changing his offense.”I can tell you, when we had Mettenberger, we threw for 3,300 yards and had two 1,000-yard receivers. When we had passers, we threw it. Miles still doesn’t think there’s any major philosophical changes to be made. https://t.co/7tnf5fibcr— Stewart Mandel (@slmandel) November 18, 2018There are some who are definitely skeptical of Miles’ ability to work at Kansas, though most of the college football world seems to like it.At the very least, it should be entertaining.last_img
