Fire at Raven Oilfield Rentals not deemed suspicious, caused by electrical issue

first_img“There is heavy smoke damage throughout the building, and some of the equipment that was involved had damage as well,” says Chief Truchan.The fire started at approximately 6:30 p.m., and when the Charlie Lake Fire Department arrived on scene, smoke could be seen billowing from almost all the shops bay doors.Approximately 20 firefighters from Charlie Lake and six from Fort St. John attended the scene, and Chief Truchan says once the “seed of the fire” was discovered, the incident was quickly under control.- Advertisement -“There was so much equipment and trucks in the bays, it was like a maze in there,” explains Truchan. “Once we located the vehicles that were involved there, it was very easy to knock it down.”Chief Turchan says luckily nobody was inside the building at the time, and none of the firefighters on scene reported any injuries.The fire is not deemed suspicious but is still under investigation.Advertisementlast_img
