The pandemic amplified the need for digital-first property packs which are designed to provide as much information as possible upfront,” says Bruce Adams from Hive. The packs, which are available as a white-label service, include EPC info, descriptions, video tours, images, floorplans and measurements, relevant warranties and guaranties, land registry title, leasehold and full property information plus information on local schools, transport links and healthcare providers. The service is being introduced to all of Miles & Barr’s East Kent properties – one of Kent’s largest agencies, which helped more than 2,000 people move home in 2020.Fall-throughsThe free packs also help to decrease the number of sales that fall through by removing any unwanted surprises that may arise during the conveyancing period.Ben Smith, Group Director at Miles & Barr, says: “The feedback from our vendors has been fantastic; not only is it free to them but they genuinely seem to love the way their home is marketed and the benefits this will bring to them when selling their home. Buyers are also amazed by just how much information we can share with them about the houses they are interested in.”See an example i-pack here.i-packs Hive Kent proptech Miles and Barr March 1, 2021Nigel LewisOne commentTimothy Main, PIP Ltd PIP Ltd 2nd March 2021 at 8:59 amPIP Vault agrees that you need as much info up front as possible. If you have any info and need to present it to your buyers and their solicitors, via your website if necessary, you can use a PIP Vault for free [think of it as an auction dataroom]. Agents open the dataroom and the agent, seller and seller’s conveyancer can post to it. Potential buyers can see the information via a property specific link.Log in to ReplyWhat’s your opinion?
